ShxHub presents our take on what social networking and video chat should be, which we have put on a global scale. We set out to design a secure, engaging, and very inclusive platform that puts users’ international and language differences in the background as they form deep connections. We made use of our AI to develop a smart match system that puts users together based on what they have in common in terms of interests, activities, and values.
We present to you a variety of interaction options which include text chat, voice messages, high definition video calls, and group chats, which we put in to make sure users’ preferred method of communication is what they get. Also, we have a global user wall which puts up profiles from over 200 countries, and it also has in place advanced location-based filters for better navigation.
To ensure we have access for a global audience, ShxHub has integrated real-time language translation for over 50 languages, which in turn makes conversations across cultures a smooth experience. At the core of development was trust and safety, which saw features like manual profile verification and end-to-end encryption put in to protect user privacy and foster confidence. The result is a scalable, feature-rich social platform for global reach, high engagement, and long-term growth.

Problems
The aim of the client was to create an innovative platform for social networking and video chatting that could assist users in establishing more substantial relationships compared to the fleeting interactions they encounter in everyday social video chat applications. While there were numerous competitors in the social networking and video chatting space, they relied on simple or even arbitrary matching and, consequently, operated with low user satisfaction, poor engagement, and high churn. The client identified the opportunity to offer a platform that connects users more meaningfully through shared interests, hobbies, and values.

A variety of communication modes are available: text chat, voice messaging, and HD video calling to enable you to interact the way that feels more natural to you.
For providing access to users around the world, a discovery system with region-centric filters was implemented, which allowed people to explore and meet members from various locations. Also included was instant multilingual translation to eliminate the language barrier, as well as robust security features such as manual profile picture review and end-to-end encryption.
